Since 2005, Shield Bearer has served the communities of Northwest Houston, Greater Houston, and now we extend statewide. You, our community in Cy-Fair, Cypress, Spring, Tomball, and beyond have been our core since day one. We have worked together for the common good of every member of our community, transforming lives, building hope, and strengthening individuals. When I look at Shield Bearer’s impact over the years, I’m stunned. When I meet someone out and about, if not daily, then each week, whose life has been impacted by Shield Bearer, I get revitalized and filled with thanksgiving that I am part of such an important ministry.
➡️ Your family, neighbors, and friends are direct beneficiaries of Shield Bearer services. Often, those services are life-saving, and they are always transforming. It’s difficult sometimes to recognize the full impact of the indirect benefits Shield Bearer may provide.
For example, the teenager who once contemplated suicide and found it nearly impossible to leave their house to complete schooling is now a graduate, married with children, and working as a successful accountant. He thanks his Shield Bearer counselor, and his life today benefits his family, friends, and circle of influence in ways beyond our imagination. Your support made his life today possible. His children, wife, and all those he impacts are thankful for your generosity. Isn’t that amazing?

Shield Bearer is growing. We respond to needs, and as those needs grow or change, we continue to respond and serve. We continue to call upon our community and our extended Shield Bearer family for support. We are seeking business and church partners; we are seeking individuals who want to make a huge impact locally by giving monthly; we are seeking event participants, workshop facilitators, and those with particular skills and expertise they want to share.
