Shield Bearer assists people who are struggling with personal issues or problems. During the call you will have an opportunity to ask questions as well as provide specific information about your situation.
Shield Bearer Counseling Centers is a nonprofit charitable organization and we will attempt to find a way to work within your budget. During your first session you and your counselor will decide how frequently to meet, but generally forty-five to fifty minute sessions occur one time per week.
Some issues may be resolved in one session while others may take several sessions. The average number of sessions at Shield Bearer is 7.2.

This five week class is a court and CPS approved research based addictions class. The cost is $25 per session of a one time fee of $100.
Anger is a normal human emotion felt by everyone. It frequently is a surface emotion with feelings of frustration, hurt, danger and disappointment underneath. We believe learning what to do with the emotional charge of anger will improve relationships. Shield Bearer is a leader in the movement for healthy relationships. Learn coping and problem solving skills. Discover how to stop the trigger thoughts of anger from becoming explosive. This eight week class is a court and employer approved research based anger management class. The cost is $25 per session of a one time fee of $150.
Depression and Bipolar Support Group
Reach and make connections with others diagnosed with Depression or Bipolar Disorders. Family and friends are also invited to participate. Experience a safe environment with supportive, understanding and compassionate peers. Build coping skills and learn effective problem solving techniques.
